Artificial Intelligence Applied to the Assessment and Guidance of Socioemotional Competencies: An Innovative Approach for Students' Academic, Professional and Life Development. Our technology is not based on intuition, but on evidence: it has been developed, applied and validated in real-world contexts.

Emotional well-being indicators in Vocational Training: AI-assisted socioemotional characterization

Title: "AI-assisted socioemotional characterization of Vocational Training students: foundations for building emotional well-being indicators"

Proposes an applied model to characterize the socioemotional profile of Vocational Training students and build emotional well-being indicators from it. At CIFP Carlos III in Cartagena, Human AI assesses 35 socioemotional competencies based on a text of about 800 words, grouped into five dimensions. It enables the identification of differentiated profiles and early detection of dropout or demotivation risks. Preliminary results.

Bullying prevention in Vocational Training: socioemotional competencies as an early signal

Title: "Socioemotional development for the preventive detection of bullying in Vocational Training: an applied AI-based model"

Model applied at CIFP Carlos III in Cartagena with 176 students from three professional families. Based on the assessment of 35 socioemotional competencies, it defines a preventive indicator, not a diagnostic one, of risk patterns associated with bullying, accompanied by an action plan at the center: awareness-raising, a Coexistence Master Plan, intentional groupings and cooperative learning. Preliminary results.

Large-scale adaptive employability: the Córdoba Crea Futuro program

Title: "AI-based socioemotional assessment for adaptive employability: an applied model in large-scale hybrid training ecosystems"

Describes the integration of AI-based socioemotional assessment in Córdoba Crea Futuro (Argentina), a program that brings together universities, technology players and the Government of the Province of Córdoba. Based on structured open-ended responses, Human AI infers 35 socioemotional competencies, generating individual profiles and aggregate indicators of dropout risk, engagement and job placement. Ethical governance of AI: from technological design to organizational responsibility

Title: "Artificial intelligence and law. Interdisciplinary challenges and practical tools for the digital future"

When an AI system influences educational, professional and personal decisions, ethics stops being a statement of intent and becomes a matter of architecture. This chapter proposes a model that combines AI-based socioemotional assessment, risk management, security by design and organizational responsibility.
The text analyzes the shift from traditional assessment models to approaches based on artificial intelligence and psycholinguistics, and argues why that shift requires explicit governance frameworks, not implicit best practices.
Its thesis: ethics is not an add-on to the system, it is part of its infrastructure.

Do those who are entrepreneurs recognize themselves as such? AI and self-perception in female entrepreneurship

Research article | Frontiers in Education, 2026
Title: "Personality traits in female entrepreneurship: AI-based assessment versus self-perception biases and personalized educational intervention"

Many people with an entrepreneurial profile don't see themselves that way. This study tests that gap: it compares the entrepreneurial self-perception of 409 university students from six countries with the personality traits that Human AI infers from their own texts.
The results point to three clear signals: emotional stability (lower neuroticism) is associated with greater entrepreneurial self-confidence, while openness to experience and modesty predict that a person will recognize themselves as an entrepreneur.
An empirical basis for designing more personalized guidance and educational interventions and for detecting potential that currently goes unnoticed.

Socioemotional competencies and sustainable development: what works in adolescence

Exploratory review | Education Sciences (MDPI), 2025
Title: "Socioemotional competencies for sustainable development: an exploratory review"

What do we really know about socioemotional learning (SEL) programs in adolescents? This paper synthesizes up to 49 studies and organizes them according to the personality traits of the Big Five (OCEAN) model, the same framework on which Human AI's measurement is built.
The overall picture is consistent: interventions improve self-efficacy, empathy, motivation and school climate, and help reduce bullying and prevent mental health problems. But the review adds an important nuance: for the impact to last, SEL must be combined with character education.
An excellent roadmap for linking socioemotional development with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the classroom.

AI and socioemotional competencies in Vocational Training: CIFP Carlos III

Title: "Socioemotional competencies and artificial intelligence to increase employability and well-being in vocational training"

Are socioemotional competencies trainable? CIFP Carlos III in Cartagena decided to find out. Through the IPIL and BE OK projects, the center integrated the Human AI assistant, capable of assessing 35 socioemotional competencies through natural language text analysis, within an educational model that places student employability and well-being at its core.
The approach enables a fast, contextualized assessment that is comparable across groups, without relying exclusively on traditional self-reports. The results show improvements in students' competency development, and identify communication as the most decisive competency for job placement.
The authors' conclusion is the most relevant one for any Vocational Training center: if these competencies can be trained, they deserve a central place in the curriculum, not a side addition.

Student-centered innovation: the case of Colegio Irabia-Izaga

Case study | International Congress: Humanities and Knowledge, Navarra (Research Gate, 2025)
Title: "Student-centered innovation in education: the experience of Colegio Irabia-Izaga applying artificial intelligence for the assessment of socioemotional competencies"

A person-centered educational model needs to know each person. Colegio Irabia-Izaga incorporated Human AI into its individual mentoring system, integrating the assessment of socioemotional competencies into tutorials and guidance processes not as an isolated test, but within the educational relationship that already existed.
Analysis of the texts written by the students themselves made it possible to identify strengths and areas for improvement, open up conversations that previously had no starting point, and give the tutor concrete information to work with.
The outcome most highlighted by the center is not the report itself, but what happens afterward: the student's own self-reflection and a better-informed teacher-student relationship.

Socioemotional competencies aligned with OECD and ESCO: the CIFP Carlos III model

Title: "Transforming Vocational Training from a human perspective: artificial intelligence in the service of socioemotional development"

Measuring socioemotional competencies is of little use if the result cannot be translated into the language of the labor market. CIFP Carlos III integrated Human AI into two projects: IPIL, an employability index based on socioemotional competencies, and BE OK, an emotional well-being program, generating personalized reports aligned with the OECD framework and the European Union's ESCO classification.
That alignment is the operational key: it makes it possible to connect each student's socioemotional profile with occupations and competencies recognized at the European level, and turns the assessment into a starting point for concrete educational, training and vocational decisions.
The center links work on these competencies to improvements in employability, school climate and student well-being.

Beyond the classroom: supporting the Personal Life Project in Argentina and Uruguay

Title: "Beyond the classroom: Human AI as a catalyst for socioemotional development and decision-making"

The decisions that shape a life path are made at specific moments. The Itínere Educational Network, with centers in Argentina and Uruguay, incorporated Human AI into the support of its students' Personal Life Project, applying it at two turning points in secondary school: 3rd and 6th year.
Based on reflective texts written by the students themselves, the platform generates personalized reports that reinforce self-knowledge and give guidance teams a concrete foundation to work from.
The lesson the network highlights: the language an adolescent uses to describe themselves contains useful information for the decisions ahead of them.

AI in competency assessment: seminar at the Official College of Psychology of the Principality of Asturias

Presentation | COPPA, 2025
The Official College of Psychology of the Principality of Asturias devoted a seminar to the ethical use of artificial intelligence in work and organizational environments, and invited Human AI to present its approach to assessing socioemotional competencies.
The context matters: the dialogue was with the professional group responsible for psychological assessment, in a setting explicitly focused on the limits and conditions of use of these tools, not on their commercial possibilities.

Which competencies truly matter in entrepreneurship? Academia versus field experts

Presentation | 1st International Congress on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, Economy and Business (Egregius, 2024)
Title: "Impact of Artificial Intelligence on knowledge economy businesses. Proceedings Book of the 1st International Congress on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, Economy and Business"

This paper identifies the socioemotional competencies with the greatest impact on the entrepreneurial profile, to feed Human AI's automated reports. The method combines a narrative literature review with a Delphi consultation of 40 experts among entrepreneurs, business owners, advisors, investors and academics.
The result: 26 of the 35 facets of the Big Five/OCEAN model are linked to entrepreneurial personality, classified into three levels: critical/relevant, necessary and optional.
And a finding that guides future research: there is a gap between what the academic literature identifies as relevant and what field experts consider truly critical. Hence the authors' conclusion: more empirical evidence needs to be generated in real entrepreneurship ecosystems to feed the models with more solid training recommendations.

AI and entrepreneurial profile: reducing bias in competency assessment

Self-assessment is the standard method for measuring entrepreneurship-related competencies, and it is also its weak point: respondents don't always see themselves accurately. This chapter analyzes how the artificial intelligence offered by Human AI can complement those traditional methods to reduce perception biases.
The text explores the potential of an analysis based on students' own natural language to provide a verifiable and comparable measurement between individuals and groups, beyond what the student states about themselves.

How do you assess socioemotional competencies when it has to be done with hundreds of students without multiplying the teaching workload? Discover in this chapter how Human AI's implementation in Vocational Training centers is documented as a standardized assessment model.
The experience describes two concrete gains: standardizing the assessment criteria across groups and teachers, and speeding up a process that traditionally takes a great deal of time. The result is usable information to guide improvements in student employability.

Artificial intelligence and mental health: the PersonIA study

Can an AI model assess personality reliably in a clinical population? That is the question addressed by PersonIA, a validation study in people with common mental disorders, led by Dr. Manuel Martín in collaboration with healthcare and academic institutions.
The poster presents the first results of the validation process and discusses what an assessment of this kind could contribute in a clinical setting: greater accessibility and a more individualized profile as support for clinical judgment, never as a substitute.
This is ongoing research: clinical validation is a prerequisite for any application in mental health.

Self-perception biases in entrepreneurship: what language reveals

Title: "Assessment of self-perception biases associated with entrepreneurship"

Given the same abilities, men and women do not report the same entrepreneurial confidence. That mismatch between actual and perceived competence has measurable consequences: who applies to a call for proposals, who seeks funding, who defines themselves as an entrepreneur.
This presentation analyzes those self-perception biases and explores the value of an assessment based on language analysis as a complementary measure to self-report: it doesn't ask the person how they rate themselves, but analyzes how they express themselves. This makes it possible to contrast perception with profile, and to make the gap visible instead of perpetuating it.
The practical usefulness is direct for guidance and entrepreneurship programs: identifying those who have the profile but not the confidence is a different intervention target, and often a more urgent one, than identifying those who lack the profile.

What specific traits make up an entrepreneurial profile? This mixed-methods research maps the correspondence between entrepreneurial personality and the 35 socioemotional competencies of the OCEAN model, the framework on which its measurement is built.
The approach makes it possible to assess these competencies without administering a personality test, through the analysis of the participant's own natural language.

The interest of the case lies in the fit: it's not about adding a measurement tool, but about integrating it into an educational project that already placed the student's personal growth as its purpose, and giving that purpose an observable foundation.

AI and employability: new pathways for career guidance in Vocational Training

Career guidance in Vocational Training faces a well-known imbalance: one counselor, hundreds of students, and a critical moment—the transition to the labor market—in which decisions are made with little information about oneself.
Assessing socioemotional competencies based on the student's own language allows that conversation to begin with a concrete profile on the table, instead of a blank page.
The underlying argument connects two dimensions that are usually treated separately: socioemotional competencies are a determining factor in job placement and, at the same time, they are trainable. If both things are true, assessing them stops being a diagnostic exercise and becomes the starting point of a training pathway.
Hence the link to educational sustainability: a training system that provides personalized support at scale reduces the mismatch between what is taught and what the market needs.
